Title: Suggestions (Pre 0.3d Release)

0.3d will be released soon, we'd like to know what you would want to see added.  Check Karlip's  '0.3d Changes to Script' (http://forum.adrenalinex.co.uk/index.php/topic,4015.0.html) to get a good idea of what's now possible with the new features.

Please keep this 0.3d suggestions only, any other suggestions should be posted as normal in it's own topic.

Fantastic idea

I'd love to see shoutcast inplemented as well, use a dialogg to prompt the player to enter a url, which will save to your account, so you can build up your own radio station list.

Suggested:

Win 1 - 5448 - "You win!"
Winning streak 2 - 5462 - "Another win for sir!"
Winning streak 5 - 5463 - "Congratulations sir, you're having quite a run."
Winning streak 10 - 5461 - "Jackpot!" and 5462 - "Another win for sir!"
REALLY Close win, like 1 second between positions 1 and 2 - 5449 - "You win sir well done."

Race starts: 3200 - Air horn

  • Remove Buildings - Remove a few fences to create extra routes

Download it and put it in  your GTA: SA folder.

Go to the objects and press 'Delete' on keyboard to delete the object, this will also show up as RemoveBuilding.

Nice code samples.  Pain to copy on my phone though, I'll wait till I get home.

Limitations Of Removing Buildings
You have to reconnect to server to re-enable them. You need the model id and position to relace them,  without reconnecting.

FireBox, not the Big Smoke crack palace building, but the wall that comes off in last mission of SA.

oh that, its looks like its the same as number 5 (that wall generated by scm) as you can see in screenshot building is removed but wall still here

- Would be nice if there wouldn't just be a split time between 1st pos and you, but this:

*pos ahead split
*pos behind split
*1st position split

You could calculate Car ahead and behind by: checking what position they are in and if they entered a CP; it calculates times the same way as with 1st pos but with the position ahead of you

- add splits to /progress
- late joiners(10 mins in) on a over 30 minute race get put to /tv and shown a message of what happened and what they can do. If race mode is free again, it sends a textdraw with 'You can now race. /race'

We had that within our leaderboard once. but I still like that getting worked out again.
