Title: What type of racer are you?

What about you lot?

Also I don't like racing with wreckless people that do anything to gain time and not care about anyone else, that's totally opposite my racing style lol 8)

Post by: Witchfynde on October 29, 2010, 04:23:53 pm: Well, I've done slalom driving IRL, so I apply the same techniques here: brake early, keep the throttle through the corner and avoid powersliding. I also like to race as an underdog, take the slowest car or one of the slower ones in an SK race. It feels so damn great to overtake some nab in an Infernus when you're in an Elegy or a Sabre. As I've said, my proudest moment was coming 4th in a Hotring SK race when I drove a Manana.

I like to defend like hell, no matter how much faster someone else is haha (on rfactor, not really samp lol)

But i hate this lampposts , and rammers who don't care about other players who want to race for play and fun

Someone open and help any players who have some problems about server or against any players

Hard to say but, OK... Here we go.

When I'm in the lead:
-I drive very fast, often way too fast, that makes me crash very often,
-Very often I do amazingly stupid mistakes, that ruin my good runs.
-I'm not using brakes much, and almost never handbrake.
-Drive very wide, or when is nice cut, then go close.
-I'm using full roads and walkways width, from side to side.
-I'm trying to avoid jumps or bumps or other things that decrease speed.
-I'm trying every possible way to gain some more time, even very risky ways and cuts, that makes me crash.

When I'm not in the lead:
-I take much care at others, to don't crash or ram them.
-I'm trying to find every place and situation to gain position WITHOUT ramming someone others.
-I can hold horn almost all time, becouse it is annoying and some others around me can lost concentration and crash.
-Often I'm following someone without overtaking and wait when he crash, then pass him.
-When someone is close me, I drive without cutting, to don't show any useful shortcuts.
-I don't mind long 20 minutes (or more) endurance races and never ragequit any race, always try to finish.
-"There is winner and losers, no 2nd or 3rd places"

Post by: Jake on October 29, 2010, 07:12:06 pm: i wana drive to finish and enjoy the view , like u r in real car with music, or just to follow the road; then situation is out of control or no record is possible i freestyle by doing saltos, flips; depends on players nearby or not depends. i no more drive aggressive.

I race like this
and when i ram or block anyone it means i failed.
when there`s no very fast racers on server i usually let drivers get past me so we can have some fun

When someone is blocking my way and driving so slow, i honk impatietly like that means: ''get out of my way slow ass''

When somebody is behind me I test if they are next to me in his screen (most of the time they are) When I know that someone is really really bocking me or ramming me on purpose, there will be payback, even if I loose the track too. If I miss a corner or hit a pole I make a full stop and wait for closest drivers to pass me, then I get back to track

After two turns i see myself in a big pit or sitting in between a tree and wall... :L My character is stritct, in a system.Nothing random and everything is planned.When iam tired and not-concentrated, i just drive and crash all the time lolz

patient being behind someone and not forcing my way around them, and if I cause a crash i always say sorry :)

Post by: Peeps-101 on November 13, 2010, 09:04:58 am: I attempt to drive smoothly and professionally with confidence (don't get scared to ram or 'oh he's passing me by I have to make way') no! but also at the same time I try to do my best NOT to ram fellow racers. But sometimes it's impossible and forgot about my ping and the desync :(

i am a careful racer, i watch out for whoever is in my group, i try to take as much shortcuts as i can and when i see there's not much space for 2 people, i just let the person who is next to me pass to avoid trouble
