This mod adds extra optional settings to the stream.ini StreamSAMP.ini file
Frame Delay
Frame Limit
Black Roads Fix
License Plate Filtering
Stencil Shadow Opacity
Disable Interior Reflections (alt+tab bugfix)
Disable Motion Blur
Disable Sound
Disable Collision Particles
Disable Flashes
Disable Heat Haze
Disable Clouds
Disable Target Blip
Disable Specular Vehicle Lighting
Disable Vehicle Lighting
It was working only for SP, but i managed to get it for SAMP
This mod need CLEO 4 or CLEO 3.
You can configure StreamSAMP.ini by yourself (change value, remove some line...)
with this you can get more fps ingame

For those who want cleen cars, put vehtxd2.txd (http://forum.adrenalinex.co.uk/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=3423.0;attach=3305) in "GTA San Andreas\models\generic" folder
To uninstall it delete "CLEO.asi" and CLEO folder

Usage: framedelay %int%
Example: framedelay 4
Default: 14
Description:
Delay time in milleseconds before each frame. Lowering this value can increase FPS if the computer can render a frame faster than 14 milleseconds, but high-spec PC users without frame rate limiter enabled may notices bugs (particularly in the menu) with low values.
The resulting maximum FPS is the sum of 1000 divided by this value. The default value brings a FPS limit of 71 FPS. A value of 10 would give a max of 100 FPS and 5 would respectively give the max of 200 FPS. With 0 resulting in a max of 1000 FPS, it is advised to take caution when trying to gain FPS. Don't try to go too high!

i hope this isn't seen as a way of cheating, i had high fps anyway so it makes no difference to me it's just a lot smoother, but it's a bonus for low-end pc users that they should definitely try

Does anybody have an idea why after installing the mod in-game camera doesn't follow my car properly when i am turning? I tested it without mod and it works good.

if anyone uses this, there should be an fps limit you have to use... racing at 300+ fps isn't really fair. i locked mine at 99 which is what /fpslimit should be at anyway even though it doesn't work and locks me at 70

For me this feels like a requirement to drive on Ax in order to do get along with the rest using this.. Didn't install it yet, I'm anti modding anyway :P

change the shadows from "8" to "6" in the .ini file. 6 is default and normal

I'm using the mod to maintain a solid 100 fps that doesn't stutter at all, this mod owns when used correctly.

exactly ^ even locking it at 70fps is smoother than using samp's frame limiter
and also locking it at 100 never stays at 100 because of oneworld, sk, maps, etc so it's fair.

Thank you FireBox but I've read readme already. If you want disable some command in SAMPstream, just put # before line.

I'm also for a max limit of fps. It's kinda unfair especially in drag races.
Yeah doubleyou says "Test Your Machines Performance" :L but with this mod it kinda feels unfair.
I try to play with 100 fps limit now.

yeah, everyone please don't go too high 8) cos FPS like that isn't possible without the mod. i think 99/100fps is a good limit

You main admins should come up with an official statement. Some butthurt admins were complaining that i should limit my FPS but as far as i know, plenty of other people use the mod, so i dont see why i cant use it. It wasnt "fair" before, too, everyone wasnt supposed to limit their fps to 20 because everyones PC wasnt equally capable. Anyway, come up with an official thing, please, as i dont want to get threatened to get banned by butthurt admins who make up their own rules. Thanks.

Or how can I limit my fps? I've set the max limit in the streamSAMP.ini file to 100 but I still go higher ingame.
And the ingame fpslimit is buggy.

If you do not use any other CLEO mods just delete cleo folder from the main game's path. Maybe deleting .ini files may work too. No idea.

i will be honest, i will keep using this mod to get the 100 fps, my max fps with this mod is 140 so i see no problems for me ???

well , i must say this mod is very helpfull to me , infact without it i barely reached 35 fps , now my game runs almost smoothly at 55-65 fps. :D

Don't really get it why set limit to 100, that will make you faster than everyone with a good pc in normal races and oneworld. I get around 80-90 at grid, and now people are constant having 99-100 fps? I don't think it's really fair.. sure it's good for those who have crap pc and get a boost from like 20 to 60-70. Other than that I think this mod is pretty unfair.

samp's frame limiter should work at 100 but it doesn't so people use the mod to limit their fps to 100 like it should work, and no 100 isn't constant, oneworld, sk, maps, etc

it is, with this mod if you get more than 100 and limit to 100, 95 or whatever so it stays at 100. that will keep your fps at 100 at all times unless you get some fps drops..
i have no idea how much fps boost this actually gives you from your actual fps, i got a boost over 200% so if someone have 70fps without it and installs it they will have like 200+ and if they then limit to 100 how are they supposed to go under that EVEN in SK,Oneworld etc.. its not like you will drop from 200+ to under 100...

Thanks for the answer, that's all I wanted. Still seems odd you lose more than 300 fps with framelimiter on, I mean how is it even possible to get to 71 in oneworld races. I suppose you're right about framelimiter, it isn't working as it should

I'm actually using this right now with onboard. Took my GPU out because the noise is really pissing me off, I get 30-60fps with onboard now :D

If this mod causes problems, why not banning it from aX then? It can be abused easily. And still, some players don't give a damn about that FPS limit.

i have frame limiter ON...
with this on (and the mod) i have a stable 60fps (or a maximum of 61 :L)... without the mod i had between 20 and 40... lol
i've been testing my game with the mod and without frame limiter and without it i had between 85 and 130fps, so to not have more than 100fps, i will have frame limiter always on :)

23/30 in 1world instead of 15/26 (sometimes 9 at start) O0

I decided to try this out, but I cannot use it, because my ping goes up from 100 to 300 and it's impossible to drive with such ping. But the mod itself is pretty nice, game runs smoother.

moved this thread here as most normal players are too stupid to configure it without breaking the 100fps rule. whether or not we should allow the mod for people who already have it i'm not sure but i'd rather no more new players download it from here and think that we approve of them getting 300fps.

I removed it anyway. It was good but since my comp isn't that good it would get this weird lag while it was trying to keep up at 90 fps.

yes, using this mod just to get clouds , black road bugs and sounds away(never use ingame sounds), fps limit is same.
i have few problems with lower fps limit being laggy, but not sure is this the issue or just my videocard.

i picked a very easy rain drag win on 404 and etc when i was testing this mod although my pc shouldnt be winning rain drags, so its still a bit of an advantage.
also, although it made me have more fps, at least with my settings it made it less stable and more spiky.

i checked if it gave me an advantage on grass and in rain (grass i raced Flayn, rain i raced Gecko), and it gave me no advantage. this mod is fair and i think it's a (no)lifesaver to those who struggle with fps lag.

copy and paste this into the StreamSAMP thingy, it will also mean the cars won't look as ugly and the sound will be on.

Changing frame delay is dangerous, it does give an advantage compared to 14ms frame delay (the default). This is why so many new players start to beat records so easily.

it had similar name with some file included in the mod.

what snoopy said. don't put framedelay that low. under 14 is fine, since that would be just 60fps in perfect case, but never drop under 8-6.

Let me see karlis if I get any improvements with 14, I sometimes have constant 100 FPS then goes down to 65 or somewhere near that.

I used to crash too until I installed CLEO 4 and ASI Loader, hope this helped.

The game crashes when I have the Extender on way back. I don't even know how it fixed itself as I went back to Cleo 3 because I don't like Cleo mods that much.
Having the ASI Loader included in the CLEO folder is a must as some mods don't work without it.
