i think its unlimited, also there is no invisible walls outside the map you can build your house where nobody will find it lol
game is still in alpha, a lot things will change, like zombies will be replaced "Garry has stated that zombies will eventually be replaced by other NPCs."

you can build wood house and you can learn to build metal house from research kits and blueprints

Since it's in Alpha, I would be tempted to buy if it was a lot cheaper. But I guess because it has Garry's name on it they can automatically charge a premium.

this isn't minecraft, you cant dig, you need to build house and protect it from other players aka bandits
