Also, can someone explain how the high scores are calculated?

top1 - 5 points
top2 - 4 points
top3 - 3 points
top4 - 2 points
top5 - 1 point

As in for that particular race, or do you mean in the all time high score for the race (as displayed on the high score page)?

It's for every race the same.

If you make 10 number #1 records you have 50 points. Make a 5th record with it and you get 51 point in total.

Maybe i am not being clear. If i get 1st place in a race, but it isn't in the top 5, do i get any points?

Not for the highscore list. Only for your "normal" points... (the points that are visible when pressing tab in server)
