I really don't know what to do. Been searching for days on what to buy

On the other hand I like how Intel's single threaded performance outperforms AMD's. I don't do much rendering I just use it as a gaming machine

from reviews it seems like 7790 is 84% of 7850 performance, so it would be bit like flipping the bottlenecks, still not balanced, although better.
aren't there any cheaper 2500K left around?

I'm going to by a 7850 2GB card no matter what. I just need a CPU decision now.

the ivy is worse choice as its 5% slower and not overclockable, so 2500K is better, but it all comes down to do you trust e-bay.
