it's the cpu that locks the multiplier, not the motherboard. what you can (probably) increase though is the speed of the fsb. as you increase the clockrate of the fsb, the clock rate of the cpu wil go up too

that wasn't my idle temp, i was on gta at that time, my idle cpu temps are around 35c
