Hard to agree with you,could be you can make 'good' pc for gaming but what kind of games?You can play games on 'some' Pentium 2 also you can run Half Life on Pentium 3 (amazing game at that time),Half Life 2,Far Cry on some 64-bit Athlon-Dual Core Intel but are you sure that 900$ is enough for pure gaming?Don't think soo.Just let you know Windows 7 support DirectX 11-check price of cards with DX11,also minimum 4gb ram is needed for games,some Quad Core processor-I7 HD Monitor...

1. They want overkill FPS on everything.
