Some people suggest Asus as good brand, but they are wrong
When you see 1 year warranty, often that means laptop is refurbished. So why paying much for something what already was with some fault?

1 year warranty is the norm in USA, but since EU requires at least 2 years that's what we get.

It is true norm in USA is 1 year warranty but also Asus, Dell, Toshiba and some other brands makes models for their markets what you can't regularly buy in Europe countries. Often difference is quality of components... But if you see Asus(EU)model with 1 year warranty it means what i wrote in upper post.
