Well I got small packets of free time during the week (especially sundays) so I thought I make the site a new replacement interface

i told him it was ok to make it and if we like it more than the current design, we'll put it on the site

Something I might have done different is keeping the letters somehow italic. It looks more dynamic which suits racing.
Can't wait to see the rest of the design you're making.

The arrow behind the text imo replaces the italic racing theory thing u said tho making it italic would be great.... italicizing it will make the font thiner.... so i could not place the round brass strokes

The arrow and the X are nice and dynamic and the text looks cool but it's static since it's not italic and simply fat.. I did a quick skew on the text to get the idea a bit and in my opinion it feels more like racing:



The effect on the A is under Filter, Stylize, Wind but I'm having second thoughts about that effect.. The logo is 'quicker' with it but it shouldn't be too complex, hard to call.
