Hard lags.

Hello,

I've got a problem and I don't know how to fix it myself, I hope to receive some help from the community.

The problem is my game lags alot when racing in groups or in one world, the lags are so bad that I can't even go to /tv, eventually I need to quit..
When this happens I see myself racing normally, only the cp's doesn't load the, players stay behind and it looks like im infront..

I got no clue what causes this lags.. My internet connection is good, got a reasonable graphic card and processor.

I would like to hear some of your opinions as this problem is quite annoying..

ps: Im using windows 10 on windows 8 I had the same problem, no lags when racing in tt.

got the same, seems to be connection problems... but we had this as server problems in past too... need to ask more ppl if they got that too

I got this too, not talking about the CP delay (which normally occurs with people having higher latency) the server responds too damn lately lol

I encounter this problem since many years ago. AFAIK it's both server and cpu related. In fact, it should be a bit more lightweight on cpu if you log as Guest (i think because in guest, server has less operations to recognize); but also gpu and cpu do their part, for example in SK race (at start) or during some SK in that places where you got many vehicles (placed all close). If your PC got few memory and/or many tasks to do (except for SAMP) you can try to install GTA SA on an external HD to make it less work on cpu and I/O jobs. Also a pc defrag can help bit...

I kinda fixed it now, Deleted gta, downloaded it again and installed it again.

The lags has been reduced by almost 90 percent.
