An IP is always connected to the registered internet access point, not single PC's.
There will be no way for you to prove it wasn't you.
The point is: Your IP did a rulebreaking action on our server and got punished, so the IP is no longer allowed on the server. It doesn't matter who did it, we just prevent it from happening again.
