GTA IV On Windows 8.1 ?!!!! Can it work??!

So basically I've installed GTA IV On my windows 8.1 and it starts up good and everything but it keeps on loading forever and never starts .... any suggestions guys???

I had A LOT of problems with GTA IV, too (on Win7).

Make sure to install all patches, it may be neccessary to do it manually.

You tried to put in compatibility mode for XP, Seven?

Tried everything ad it didn't workout. got pissed. deleted it.
