Depends on what job you work in.

Maybe for someone who works in a 9-5 job (for example selling insurances) it's a no-go to surf at work. But for me (design agency), I do not have 100 % work all time of the day. At some days, I will work 120 % from 9-9 or even more, some other days I will work standard 9-5 with maybe 75 % of work.  8)

Still, the basic question here is, how semi-nude/erotic content of which kind whatever is handled on our forum.

First of all, SFW doesn't just mean safe for work, it means safe to browse in front of your parents, at school or just somewhere where having adult content on your screen would put you in an awkward position. It could even be at work while you're supposed to be working; if someone wants to do that and risk their job, it's their choice. The reason it's against the rules is that it would be far more inconvenient for the many people who browse the forum from a SFW-only place to have to stop browsing than it would be for the few people posting NSFW content to simply use spoiler tags. And though it's not as strictly enforced as I'd like it to be, it's not total anarchy here yet. I banned Supa from the forum temporarily after his latest series of unspoilered topless pictures but I think he's the only person to get banned. But, to go back to the main topic, I don't even think that two girls kissing is NSFW, otherwise I would have deleted it.
will read and answer your forum PMs when I'm less busy!

What level of addiction should you have to visit a thread about real-life pictures of members of gaming forum while you're at work? I don't work yet, but when I'm in school, I sometimes log into and check only important stuff... This isn't facebook either, I think one picture of you is enough; if someone wants to see more, he should use fb  :L

Also, for those peep who live in democratic countries, why don't you just tell those who check what you browse on the internet to get the fuck out? You should have freedom to search for whatever you want... not their business really.

To be fair, Troublemaker has a point. I think the personal pictures section isn't "safe for work" because when they see pictures of people, co-workers will be too curious as to what you are doing, regardless of how innocent the content is.

I personally don't browse at work even during a lunch break because I don't like to mix business with pleasure, but I respect that some people want to spend their lunch that way.

I think everywhere (especially signatures and avatars) should be kept SFW (in the sense mooman is saying) except for the AX Member pictures and Funny Pictures/Videos topic. I think those two topics should be generally unmoderated because they shouldn't be looked at with others over your shoulder to begin with. 'Funny' vs. 'offensive' is too subjective to make for public browsing, and like I say looking at photos of other people makes people nosey.

I think if people really want to look at a certain topic they may be worried about viewing they should use their phones. Almost everyone who visits this forum has a smartphone capable of viewing this forum. Generally if you water something down so much to the point of where it becomes boring people will leave.
