Hey, if you've got the "log out" button on your keyboard then use it - it's faster than restarting. In case it only shows a mouse pointer after you've pushed the button (on the keyboard), try to blind-find the button on the screen - it is there, it just doesn't show up on your display due to hung app. First time it might be hard to find it, but once you did it, you can forget about restarts ;) After logging off, log back in and use ctrl+alt+del to close gtasa.exe.

also, "yay" for windows xp, this is not an issue on 7 and onwards(probably even vista).

wait so it does get stuck in windows 7?
for me and few others ive seen the "spash screen" of ctrl+alt+del fixes this.
