If playing with less than 30 fps is illegal, then play with more than 60 fps should be too!

why would it?
it doesn't harm anyone like low fps does.
it might be true that not everyone can get 60fps, but 100fps is adopted far too long to change it, unlike with low fps whose usage is growing and needs to be stopped for playability reasons.

GTA SA is clearly not designed to play at 100fps and it brings a substantial advantage.
Now I understand the idea of bringing the greatest possible equity on the server.

i thought the rules state it clear enough...

also, i edited them so now you're allowed to change it at MTA race switch too.

Well, no.

If they were clear, records like Painkiller did on nikkistop shouldn't have been removed. He used it in the beginning of the race, which is allowed according to the rules you pointed out.

i think ppl starting to miss it's point...

it now about fps, but about swiching limits during race
doesn't apply if you set your framerate BEFORE race starts, and noone gives a shit if you start at 100 or 25, but once you are done, you must stay at fps you set, till rece ends!

i assumed that painkiller knew what he was doing when he said his records were abused, so i just deleted them.

anyway, there are more changes coming up, which, unlike these rules, will in fact void any highscores which use 30(40 in tt) or less fps, but after that everything in regard to fps should remain the same.

also, people, could you read more carefully before complaining about something? up until this post no one told about any sort of low fps limitation as long as it is not changed.

a reset for records older than feb2012 is already happening when the new website is launched.
you can call me crazy, but in a 0.5-1.5 years reset for all records made before today is quite feasible option, if not full one, then at least for the vehicles affected.
