Wheel Popularity
« on: March 26, 2013, 06:05:18 pm »

KEY Left to Right:

Code: [Select]
1st row: Import, Atomic, Ahab, Virtual, Access, Classic, Dollar, Twist

2nd row: Wires, Trance, Offroad, Cutter, Rimshine, Mega, Grove, Switch, Shadow

Counts for number of users using a particular wheel:

Shown without Shadow...

I assume Shadow is over-represented because it is at the top of the rims selection list.

theres a big menu position bias to this :(

i think there were objects that looked like the rims, right(or just using rim id as object)?
it could possibly work with the new preview textdraw functions so we can actually make menu where players choose by looks.

i periodically switch through those: Cutter, Rimshine, Mega, Grove, Switch, Shadow, rest looks too much like in GTA 3 or just aren't the type i like.

I love how you used picture of my wheels  :L

 ;)

It's the best picture I could find for showcasing all the wheels available.

Btw I forgot you made the pack  :D, the other day I was trying to remember who made it because Karlis was asking if there was an HD remake of Rimshine wheels.

A new version for after marketplace introduced:

Switch wheels are very popular, especially since they are reasonably expensive, as are cutter.

Only one baller has purchased dollar wheels (same for Twist).

Offroad's popularity is probably related to it being top of the /buywheels list.  ::)

i think offroad wheel popularity is related to common misconception that they have better grip/handling.
