hey guys, i got banned from Karlis for ''Grid Hacks'' and i dont know why...

My Ingame name: MiKoLaJ
My IP :217.84.180.xxx
Admin which Banned me: [MAF]Karlis
Reason : ''Grid Hacks''
Why you want to get unbanned ? : LOL man, i dont hacked, i wondered why i got banned, please unban me if you can...

ban is for what happened few hours ago, on the sabre races, we finally agreed that its impossible to do without cheats.
reason is grip, not grid hacks.
first you got top2 on sabre-rain-nitro on the first try which is suspicious, then you got top1 sabre_rain with 300ms advantage of existing record, and phobos saw you having the 300ms advantage on the first cp, which is impossible. both races are old and played regularly.
also, you used to be quite worse at racing, and getting dodger scale skill so suddenly is quite impossible too.

300ms is not really much. And by my racing skill, what's so wrong if i improved ? Is it not allowed to improve or to drive top1 records ?

And this is not my first Top1, so what's the problem ? There are many other good racers out there who set records 10 times better than me.

tbh 0.3 sec difference is a lot, when you have the same FPS like me, also the same ping, how do you explain that you are faster?

My fps are around 100 and ping around 30, I don't know yours.
I don't know how to explain but I'd say i went better around the corners or drifted less than you. (such a stupid question tbh)

i also have 100 fps, ping about the same value as you, the first cp wasn't in a corner it was right after start before the first turn, there you were 0.3 sec in front of me

At the first CP YOU were in front of me, not the other way around. At the first CP I had (+0.050) or something and then i overtook you in the first corner.

ok it might have been the 2nd cp but that doesn't change the fact it was before the first corner and you were quicker by 0.3 sec

It does, because the 2nd cp is after the chicane. We could talk all day and it won't come to an end, you don't have any evidence, so we can only say what it looked like from our view..

Well you're not the one who's banned. This is your point of view, mine looks a little bit different, and as long as there's no evidence i consider this unfair treatment. Because after such a long time i wouldn't cheat for sure, that would be wasted time

it would be wasted time if you would get caught, but none plans to get caught(almost none anyway).
we have enough examples in the past that shows that irrational decision to cheat isn't rare at all.

although I wasn't there when it happened, it wouldn't surprise me if You did hack. I remember the first time I saw You, certainly not as a good racer. And then couple of weeks later, You suddenly started beating records and really improved significantly. I haven't seen anyone else make such progress in such a short period. That just seems a little suspicious.

0.300 is quite a lot tbh. Nonetheless, I can't honestly say You are a hacker, cause I've raced a lot with You and I've never seen You hacking or getting an advantage in split times.

Just wanted to share my point of view.

i agree with these patrik's statements. from the first time i saw you miko, you were acting like some kid and always been suspicious to me(seen your racing style and sometimes it really looked like you had mods, but i am not such a pro gamer to decide is it really mod or you are clean). and yes, i believe other admin mates so i believe also you had something on that race. i know you may think i hate you or sth and dont take it personal, it usually was for fun or to piss you (

) but if it was my decision i would like to see you banned.

Well thanks i guess. But my question is still unanswered. fastcake got banned for hacks, but he got unbanned because there was no evidence, so why not me ? Nobody was spectaing me or restarted the race to see how i did, so i think Karlis made a hasty conclusion.

This does happen a lot. The same happened to Dabar, who is now actively playing on the server.

Records are there to be beaten, they are there to be a target/goal, not a ban-marker.

My verdict: I don't know if Miko hacked or not, none of us do. All we know is he beat a record by 0.3 seconds, then when the race was loaded again, he didn't race it.

If only Captain Hindsight was an admin, he would of loaded Gecko.
