the server got ddosed again, i think it's the host haven't ddos protection.
It depends on technology that uses the hosting. There are very valid solutions against DDoS attacks but can cost from 30 to 120 Euros or more euro per month. The technology used is called: DDoS mitigation

the AX's host have that ?

In some cases it may be a disservice hosting, and not necessarily an attack. Anyway, not so easy to stop that kind of attacks. For example, even huge companies like Sony (or government institutions) may fall victim to these attacks. It takes a bit of patience...

Here's a nice article:

We use OVH DDoS protection; Cloudflare is for the website and can't be used for game servers.

When will you open the server again to the new players? the server became boring because the server has few players.

I hope to make some changes in future so that the server is only in 'locked mode' when it's being attacked.

I guess when it notices an unusually large amount of connections in a short amount of time, which is how a ddos works.

Seems to be frozen.

@moo: Restart doesn't seem to work, I only get "500 Internal Server Error", tried several times.
