So. The GT Academy 2012 has started!
This is a special project that allows Gran Turismo players to fulfill the ultimate dream of becoming a professional racecar driver. Players who prove their skill here will be given a chance to go wheel-to-wheel in a real racecar on a real circuit.
Anyone up for the challenge? I know the competition in this kind of events is fierce and that my chances of success are close to 0
Nevertheless I'm willing to give it a try and do my best.
It says there's gonna be 8 scheduled rounds in total each having 5 driving tests.
So far I have just completed round 1 which is pretty easy to get gold on its five tests and ranked somewhere on the 50k places.
So wish me luck for the upcoming tests.
Btw it's not necessary for you to have a copy of GT5, you can download the GT academy demo from the PS store to your PS3.
So If you have a PS3 I invite you to join the competition.
There will also be rewards for GT5 itself for completing rounds with all test in gold times.
