For me AVG is the best, once i disabled it and some virus/viruses infected my system32, so AVG now keeps the system32, but the files are still infected and cannot be healed or removed  :-\

Uninstall that shit and download last version of kaspersky

fix system with full scan then unistall or keep using or do what you want with antivirus  ;)

best anti virus is the sense not to download any dangerous (exe,scr,...) file types from any sites you don't trust. i don't use any AV and my PC is fine for humm let me think 8 months now without any need to format..
occasionally i do download anti virus and scan and it finds nothing ;)
