48(9+3)/2=(48*12)/2=288
48/2(9+3)=48/(2*12)=2
48/2(9+3)≠48(9+3)/2
So, the answer is 2.

if the answer is 2 then it has to be like

48 / ((9+3) * 2) =
48 / 12 * 2 =
48 / 24 = 2
