Hmm, no idea lol, imagine the size of such game. If San Francisco is in about what? 7-8 GB of size, then by the aprox 270 cities in the US it might be around 2000 GB (?)

Thats 2 terabyte for just 1 game lol but gameplay would be awesome. Imagine to drive from LA to Chicago or sth.... can't wait.
I was in the right, yes absolutely in the right. I certainly was in the right... I dunno I was really drunk at the time...

Cost of developping it would be too high lol.

Heh guys where is imagine, programmers can use generic code cause many towns are similar and for sure that can't be like 2TB more like 4
4 or 6 dual layer DVD,not sure many of you remember games on Amiga 500 basic games were on 2 floppy but also on Amiga's golden period were such 12 floppy games with amazing graphic details for that period mid 90's

Too bad. It would own if it had. Oh well maybe someday they'll make a sandbox style game with manual transmission.....

is this going through whole america or just san francisco?

I think, I THINK! ... it is just San Francisco.

You will have to wait for:

 :L :L :L

i won't get excited until they've mapped the whole of england and i can drive past my house :( google street view is a step in the right direction but things need to get more advanced :D

The Getaway has also a very good detailed and original london. And Game is already about 10 years old. I hope there will be also a The Getaway 3 some day.
Heres the map of "London" in game ;)

Shame this game costs 45€ In the first store I saw here for PC. Probably have to wait for cheaper prizes or look at amazon. This is a little bit to much. Maybe the licenses are expensive.

In that time I enjoy this old stuff ^^

about...
Driver San Francisco Collectors Edition:
1st time i see game that comes with main vehicle model.
Not really big deal, but nice to see car , like WoW players usually have orcs and other figures...
Typical 'money maker' for distributors, but also nice gift, that really suits theme...
