Oh My GOD! Driver San Francisco is the game I've been waiting for
« on: September 28, 2011, 04:09:38 pm »
I've been waiting for this moment whole my life. The moment came true. We got a game that shows you almost whole USA City.

Been playing it for a few hours. Just one word. AWESOME. Handling is similiar to GTA IV but you can't be so fast in corners. But oh geeez, i am so excited to have so great views and so detailed city. And also episodes in "career" are well made. Tanner story FTW. Kinda Sci-Fi but I like it a lot. You can't not play it!
Unfortunately Anti-Aliasing is imo weak. Running game on highest details.

Some screens from me:

"It's a day of car insurance cadging" "nice crash... money from insurance will be enough for year without work but not for an island..." or "last night you were more efficent Brian" "Don't fasten your seatbelts! I wanna get money for breaking my neck!"

Yeah this 70's Funk was just great. Good memories from these old classy games.

In which zone is the game based. Is it like parallel lines with 70s and today. Or is it just today's style?

Is it the "Tanner" from the first games?

Tanner is the same. He had an accident and he has got power to "fly his body" over the cars. City is designed in today times.

Hmm name of tread fail, game is good but way to be realistic or similar, just another game in industry what kids now days found amazing.
Many games in past were way better, action, story or game play, now days programmers trying make game real but fuck they fail in every segment.
Do you believe is worth to pay like 600 euro for good piece of hardware to play this game?
IMHO game is just average as many games are now days that is all

I am an excited kid :(

Thread is kinda "sarscastic" not a proper game review lol. I think I will make one when I play more so you can have overall view from the gamer point. Anyway I don't know what you call game for kids. Of course you can't expect any realistic handling or so but don't forget they aim with games for normal humans too. Not a hardcore racers.

BTW. You can't drive over any human in the game blah... It was possible in Driv3r but I think they wanted to have less PEGI info...  ???

Does that mean you can't enter the sidewalks with your car? Or that you just drive through people.
