UK Riots - What's your opinion?

I'm not a Muslim, but I think we should stop the Muslim-bashing. The behaviour of people is dependent on how developed their society is, and since Muslim countries are less developed both economically and culturally they tend to be more conservative. Honour killings and sexism are nothing specific to Islam but have been in the history of every religion.
Don't let the minority of extremists speak for the majority of a group of people, the biggest Muslim country in the world is Indonesia, but they never make news because they are moderate, and the only way Muslims are represented on TV are by extremists and terrorists because they demand the most attention.
There are nice people and idiots in every race and religion.

Well you could say the same thing for Christians: a small part of their religion is dedicated to something that happened around then...hmmm...I'm not sure if I can remember it...wait, oh yes: the birth of Jesus.
But in all seriousness Ganja, your views are very misled and I must admit my impression of you has gone down significantly since your participation in this topic.
