UK Riots - What's your opinion?

<< < (12/34) > >>

[MAF]Epoxi:
Ahahahahaha, everyone blaming the immigrants.  :L

99.9% of people you see in these riots are British citizens, even the black people you see are born and bred in the UK: Jamaicans were imported as labour 80 years ago or earlier (500 years ago as slaves in many cases). Not to mention immigration is tighter than ever: my own uncle can't come to the UK this year for a holiday because the government assume he's going to stay here, despite several members of my family coming here on holiday from India and always returning within the visa restrictions.

This has nothing to do with Muslims, immigrants or Europe's borders.

[FSR]Ush:
They already destroyed the British culture.

Ganja:
Immigrants or not, they come from poverty areas right. My point exactly

[FSR]Ush:
Watch this and see what is coming, it is shocking!!

There is no absolute poverty in the United Kingdom. The poverty people talk about is people on incomes lower than £14,000 per year (i.e. 60% of average income).

I spend under £9,000 a year and am able to pay for university education, accommodation, high quality food, clothes, internet and even my car...I do not believe this is really poverty and is several times more than the income of the average person worldwide. People are rioting as opportunists, it has nothing to do with poverty or education: even the poorest in our country have fair access to the best universities in the world.
