I liked the old one because it was purely useful. This looks nice but is more confusing. Hopefully I will get used to it...

As the polish forums leader I can say that every style change after a pretty long time will be mostly hated and denied by the users. For me it is better than old one but i need to get use to it.

we've always had the latest smf version on this forum and they released version 2 (this) 2 weeks ago. there are a few reasons for the upgrade: someone could find a security hole in the old version which wouldn't get fixed for a while cos everyone is on the new version or we need some forum mod but someone only made it for the new version and we can't use cos we're stuck in the past. those things are probably not a problem now but they would be in the future and i'm a big procrastinator too so i thought i'd get it over and done with quickly before the procrastination side of me kicked in i'll probably be adding a few new themes in the coming weeks, it might take a while because i make them myself.. first priority is the black theme - hopefully it'll appease those of you that doesn't like this one

Older versions did have security holes, that's why SA-MP also moved forums, but they didn't trust SMF any more.
