I know that none believes me when i say that i didn't watch him do his runs so no point in arguing about it. He won't take part in 3rd tourney then if none trusts me.

it's better to deny something than to ignore it. otherwise it makes people not be able to trust you and think you did do it to win

i also never said you did do it, i just thought it because you would always ignore it being mentioned

I've got an idea, what if we combine both times and after that make up the positions? So we got a WRC + F1 system combined..

Example:
I do two runs, my first run ends in 1.30 minutes and the seconds in 1.20 minutes.
Person X makes two runs too, he gets 1.40 minutes in the first run and 1.15 in the second run.
Combined I get 2.50 minutes and person X gets 2.55 minutes. I finish first and person X finishes 2nd. I'd get 25 F1 points for that and person X gets 18 points.

GOOD IDEA?

And if you don't set a time you get the average time of all racers as 2nd time?? Just thinking aloud.

You're the one who called me arrogant for not liking an idea.

But sure I could explain why I don't like it if it makes you feel better...

First of all, if by any chance 2 runs would actually win the vote and we would be using Ush's idea the best racer wouldn't win, probably the one who drives slowest and avoid crashes...
Like me, ( and alot of others aswell ) try to drive as fast as possible the first run and probably crashes a few times will get a shit time combined with a decent time on your 2nd try when you take it easy...

Well there is actually always a possibility that someone could be cheating. Player A does his run, records it with fraps and sends to player B and player B learns the track like that.

phil is the arrogant one and you were the sarcastic one because of your sarcastic comment towards ush. i would have thought you'd know the difference between arrogance and sarcasm.

Ush I don't think that will work. Having 2 runs in the first tourney was so you had a joker to play, so that if you messed one up, you had the other spare.

The way I see it, this one will only work 2 ways:
- 1 run in an F1 style format - no need for a backup as you can make up for your mistake next race
- 2 runs in a knockout style - if you make a mistake you have 1 more chance. 2 mistakes you're out

everyone agree?
