/alerts was available to everybody and you and jarno abused it. not one of you bothered to tell a scripter so it could get fixed. you just happily enjoyed using a command that shouldn't have been available to you!

Jarno told me this like a week ago because he reported alot of people and he wanted to show me that the report list is full with his name.
I checked it but thats it. I didn't know it was for admin players, i thought it was a way to show other players what people got reported.
I told Dodger that its possible to use /alerts but he didnt do anything with it obviously.

I know i abused that and i apologised about that, but honestly i didnt know about this being a admin-only command, i obviously would of reported it if i knew it was admin only, because i think when you report someone it automatically comes up a admins screen that a person gets reported so i thought this way was for other players.

jarno never reported it to the scripters did he? if so it would have gotten fixed. and typical that you don't want one of your members punished again

Because i think jarno didnt know this command was admin only, i even told dodger though that i reported a hacker and he could check it in /alerts.

it's very obvious that we would never let players have access to a command like that. imagine how ridiculously easy hacking would be if you knew every time someone reported you. and of course "*cough* admin *cough*" really makes it look like you knew it was an admin command

No i made Krissi look like it automatically came up my screen but it didnt.

My members suffered enough in past,not long ago Jarno was banned too cause of some silly bug into script.I can swear i have reported many things on forum what nobody took for real,only when shit like this happens patch comes next day...

your members should play by the rules then. if somebody in MAF abused a fault in the system, the same punishment would go to them even if we are friends

Sure i get your point but still 2 weeks ban is bit overreaction especially cause kids like Jarno never make mess on purpose.Am pretty sure that many worst bugs we had in past,even server where each player have admin rights but you were more calm than now

i'm calm now. i'm just more involved and i care a lot more than i used to. and also there was nothing stopping jarno from telling a scripter about /alerts instead of keeping it to himself for a week or even longer if i didn't read any of this on IRC

Sure i know you doing your best to improve quality of server but seems there is lack of communication between players-scripters.Am sure there is plenty topics like this http://forum.adrenalinex.co.uk/index.php/topic,3109.0.html where some regular try to suggest some and if you or few more admins not make one post,whole topic die soon or later cause scripters doesnt take this for serious

Probably that is why nobody of them didn't used forum to report that fault with alert command

because i think that's not possible due to samp. r doesn't have much time these days because of personal reasons. i'm not a scripter so there's nothing i can do, and i'm sure pod and mooman are very busy too

Ye they are guilty cause huge mess happened this night but am bit about to forgive everything cause as Mourad said they didn't knew its admin only command.
To be honest list of new commands is huge and if player doesnt visit Rick's blog on main page he cant be sure what he is able to use.
2 or 3 days ago i was able to see IP's of every single player who visit our website by clicking on his account stats page and few hours later that option gone.And there was no any proper info why that was added on site and why is disappeared couple hours later

admins can view the player's IP on the highscores page, just admins only. surely that's obvious, you know how protective mooman is about IPs showing so he wouldn't do something silly and make every player see IPs.

i know you want to defend your clan members but there's no excuses for this. report a bug to mooman or pod and they fix it as fast as they can and i can back them up 100% on that.

nothing left to say, two weeks is good enough imo

I knew about the command yeah, what i didn't know was that it was admin only untill u said it last night, its even in the blog at player commands thats where jarno got it from, so technically its not our fault. Yeah we could of reported it but what are we gonna report if we dont know where it belongs?

Yeh thats true but im 100% against hackers and when i saw a hacker ingame, i reported him straight away.
