Topic: An idea to improve races where you can choose cars

I for one don't like these races. I don't like how everyone always picks the best car, there just isn't much of a point for the whole mode. I think it would be a good idea that out of the cars to choose you get a random car and you can only use that car through-out the race. I think thats a good idea to make racing a bit more unpredictable. Thats what I love about SK races, all kinds of different cars make racing more fun.

making it random won't allow you to use the car you like most

we had something similar with the royal rumble mode. you'd get one of two cars and unless you left your car and did /nc twice you were stuck with whatever you were randomly given. the fastest car isn't always going to be people's favourite so even if there is a choice, everyone won't end up having the same car.

The race file should be able to support this, I agree random if more fair than people selecting the infernus or NRG for example.

whole point i suggested this racemode is that i don't like when i m forced to use for example Infernus, when others have Turismo or sth


if someone likes Infernus, ok let him use it, I prefer Bullet or Cheetah, coz they are better in corners
maybe someone likes Turismo more, or is hardcore who take Super GT, his choice

Hard to say what's fair and what's not when mixing vehicles, maybe we should do what Madmax has previously suggested, no-record-races for these type of races.

SK is fun, but it's not fair 9/10 times, we'd never remove these rec storing though

Snoopy, overtaking someone in an Infernus while you have a Sabre can really brighten your day, thats why I usually take a slow car in SK races. Besides, as I've said, more different cars = more unpredictability.

I'm 50/50 on this one. If it's all the same vehicle, you might aswell just use one world and save the messy grid. That said, I like the idea of grabbing my own vehicle and plotting the grid manually, just like old times.
