if total time of race = 3 min

why not put penalties from end of time ?

more than 3 min : no points

2 min 50 : 600 points penalty

2 min 40 :  500 ....

2 min 30 : 400
 ...

..
something like that : if some noobs rides to the finish fast it wont change anything

yeah that's the problem, the donuts earn so much more points that it's impossible to make a penalty that would not make legit drift useless.
the mode needs a fundamental change, but considering that we have just like 5 drift races at the moment it's not top priority.

just disabling it would not give any advantages except having 5 more races that would not differ from the other 4000 ones.
