Eaten bad chicken?

I just cooked some chicken which expires tomorrow, but made a bad smell when I cooked it. I decided to eat it since it's the only meat I have left, and the supermarket closed hours ago. It tasted funny so I stopped eating after having one breast and threw it out.

Have you guys ever had chicken food poisoning? How bad was it?

I've heard horror stories of vomiting for days, but I'm hoping it's just melodrama.

we had a chicken, 2 days over, cooked it and smelt like rancid. we didnt eat it cuz it didnt smell right. you might be lucky and just get diarrhoea or vomiting or even both, go straight to the doctors  ;)

even they give you food poisoning, not very often but they do lol :L
