I just cooked some chicken which expires tomorrow, but made a bad smell when I cooked it. I decided to eat it since it's the only meat I have left, and the supermarket closed hours ago. It tasted funny so I stopped eating after having one breast and threw it out.

Have you guys ever had chicken food poisoning? How bad was it?

I've heard horror stories of vomiting for days, but I'm hoping it's just melodrama.

we had a chicken, 2 days over, cooked it and smelt like rancid. we didnt eat it cuz it didnt smell right. you might be lucky and just get diarrhoea or vomiting or even both, go straight to the doctors

Although this is scary, it's quite reassuring to me as most of those are bacteria-related and I deliberately overcooked the food. My main concern is the toxins they left behind (giving the strange taste).

food poisoning is horrible $:-\$ you just have no appetite and feel weak for that period, plus you'll probably have diarrhea and occasional vomiting. just remember to drink plenty of water

i haven't been ill in over 10 years, and i only eat greasy fatty food lol

i also can't put on weight

Last time I was real sick was at oldyearsnight/newyearsday 2008-2009... I got sick at 10pm @ 31 december.. feeled a bit ill till 2am and after that I sat whole night on the wc... or stood there for some puking haha.

My problem is I have no appetite. Really, Ive never felt truly hungry in my life. The only reasons I eat is to stay alive and not make my grandma nervous or if it tastes good.

same here andy, i eat a lot and im always hungry, however i cant put any fat on. However Im satisfied with my weight(65kg), but most of it is from my height, 1.85 metres(and im 14 years old)

heh, im suppose to be around 11stone or 69kg instead im around 8stone 6lbs or 53kg
