I'm affraid You are wrong.
This isn't close to Ford Mustang style.
It is more like MOPAR style cars (they are better than Ford ;D)

Can You see stripe on rear?
They call it bumblebee stripes, it is used mostly in MOPAR cars (Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth)
I have never seen any Ford with that stripe.
These are MOPAR bumblebee stripes.
They go from left to right.
These are Ford stripes.
They go from front to rear.
Also MOPAR (Dodge, Plymouth) had round rear lights
I hope this gave You some more informations about American muscle cars styling and decals. ;)
In other words:
MOPAR(Dodge, Plymouth) = from left to right.
Ford, Chevrolet = from front to rear, whole car lenght.
