I've started writing recently and I wanted to share my stuff only with friends and not publish it yet or anything. I will post here (and on my Tumblr) all poetry I make. Hopefully this should help me (and you) track down my progress as I become a world class poet 8) lol.

I expect this thread to fill up with good stuff along with your comments and suggestions. :) Remember, I'm not yet that good at this so cut me a bit of slack :L

I do,
A lot.
But even
technology
can’t make
me feel

connected.

I live in a town

of unspoken
progress.
Sidewalks and commute lines that operate like clockwork.
Underground
train systems
plagued with impatient
mammals.
They push
They kick
They knock you off
To get in
To get to work
To get paid
To get home and still be welcomed by the
maggots
that live in a hole on their
pockets.
Above ground it’s all the same:
traffic that homes on you like
heat-seaking missles,
your everyday nuclear warhead,
a machine that is said to represent
industrial growth.
The roads are dirty and hostile to bicycles.
One day
this kind lad
that lives upon the comforts of a place down south
will brave these hurdles
just to be
with her.
Yes
he shall,
as soon as he gets enough

cash.
