Teletubbies is a BBC BAFTA-winning children's television series, primarily aimed at pre-school viewers, produced from 1997 to 2001
i still wouldn't call that new
Witchfynde:
The problem with cartoons nowadays isnt just the lack of violence, its lack of stupidity. I mean talking animals and sponges, lack of realism, that kind of stuff. I grew up with Spongebob, Angry Beavers and Rockos Modern Life. Sure, theyre not particularly violent, but they have an element of that, even Spongebob, and most importantly theyre silly. The cartoons with real-life characters, realistic situations just seem boring. Cartoons are supposed to be like non-simulation video-games, a bit silly.

But they're all 100 times better than stupid Teletubbies! ;)
