Anyone been and have any recommendations on places to see/visit?

I am off there for a long weekend in 3 weeks and the friend i am staying with has admitted she is a shit tour guide.

Brandenburger Tor, Checkpoint Charlie, Holocaust Mahn-mal, Reichstag, Kurfürstendamm(shopping mall).

Never been there, but heard from a friend who has been there these are the things worthy to see.

I want to visit Berlin too one day.. when I have money :L

It's a 6 hours drive from my home by car. But it's also good to do by train.
