I'm sure at one point the car records sorting was effort, we now have it :D

Nah you don't. I can see you get 3 points for 3rd, so i guess you get 4 for 2nd and 5 for first.

Can someone who actually knows, such as mooman, answer?

Can it not be changed to get 20 for 1st, 19 for 2nd etc down to 1 for 20th, since the highscores now go to 20, not 5? It would make the points league far more inclusive for players who aren't as good as the top racers.
