nope it's still the same, it just looks different with different colours. we will probably have to wait for a fix or something

PS is there something wrong with extras ??? or im wrong, roof extras are little too up when i import it in Zm2 not tested ingame

That is a problem with SA: to work the extras have to be positioned too high like that. I hate it because it is really confusing.

Maybe because you lowered your Cheetah little bit down, and why you did it?
red selected - your Cheetah
black not selected - default Cheetah

Look at my Cheetah http://forum.adrenalinex.co.uk/index.php/topic,1999.msg94668.html#msg94668 extras dont need to be "positioned too high like that"

Maybe there is something wrong with your Zmodeler2

That is strange, maybe I did it by accident between the many alterations. I will fix it next time I modify the Cheetah. It should not affect handling because the objects have not moved in relation to the cheetah.dff dummy, so Cheetah is still in original position when loaded.

Yes thats wont affect handling
Also i noticed your wheels are a little bit smaller, thats can affect handling, and i remember someone (i think it was Krissi) tested your Cheetah long time ago and said that its a bit lower (that can be because of smaller wheels) and he can hit bump more times than with default Cheetah

Nah, wheels are just for the look, the only thing about wheels that affects handling is the positioning of the wheel dummies (which are unmoved). You can scale the appearance of the wheels down to a tiny size and the car will appear to float and will still maintain same ride height as before.

If the car seems lower it is only because the roof is lower, again that is only cosmetic.

I made some Diablo wheels (tyres stolen from J2HIN pack). I might do a whole wheel pack focusing on 90s wheels that will match the cars in SA.

how long would it take to "curve" or "tessellate" the original sa cars to higher poly count and smooth the edges?
would be cool imo.

i wondered isn't there a "tessellate" tool for that purpose, but of course in this case its not worth it.
