object name can contain "shiny" keyword to support correct shining (reflections and specular). This mostly relates to upgrade parts exporting. So, for example, to export properly shining front bumper upgrade, rename "fbmp_s_a" object to "fbmp_s_a_shiny" and "fbmp_s_a_dam" object to "fbmp_s_a_shiny_dam"; this should be exported to fbmp_s_a.dff file (it doesn't matter that object name differs from the file name you are exporting).
