I think the range argument holds no water at all. Many people have the same ranges.

I know there aren't many people playing SA-MP in the UK but I've never been the victim of a ban intended for someone else on any server. Usually these players are just pretending they're the victim of a range ban when in reality a new player who couldn't connect would just give up rather than submit an unban request.
