New Limits
New Limit  (Old Limits)
Players:     500 (200)
Vehicles:    2000 (700)
Vehicle Models:    Unlimited (50)
Objects:    254 (150)
Virtual Worlds:    2,147,483,647 (256)
Map Icons:    100 (32)

New Functions
GUI : Advanced display, input text, massive capacity menu's.
Chat Bubbles : Once saw this in MTA DM, it looked great.
3D Text : Great for adding custom text to places, players and even vehicles.
Special Actions : Increased actions, they remind me of advanced Animations.
Bots : Although very restricted, bots can do many many many things.
Velocity : Unlike before, we can now control players speed, a lot better than crappy SetPlayerPos.

New Features
Dialog Menu : Drop down menu for TimeTrial select, able to have 40 different races loaded. Drop down menu for Dynamic Teleports. Drop menu for fighting styles, limited to DM (Fighting + Racing don't mix).
TAB Screen : Now able to click on each player with the mouse support. Easy admin. Easy contact.
Chat Bubbles : When we talk in the server, people in range will see a chat bubble above your players displaying what you say.
3D Text : Added to podium players, displaying their finish position, time and score earned. Houses also use the 3D Text to display house info.
Drunk Mode : Race while being pissed out of your head, do not try this at home. :L
Super Nitro : Bascially be able to travel at crazy speeds, drive like a hacker, but not get banned, woop.
Super Jump : As above, but on a more vertical scale.
Fly Mode : Using the alternate directional controls, fly your vehicle.

Here's a few more improvements, although some of them are mainly geared towards other gamemodes.

• Synced visible car damage and synced vacant cars ( best thing about 0.3 IMO )
• Synced traffic lights and waves ( Useless to us, but I guess it would be nice not seeing everyone at a different level after a race
   that ends in the sea :L )
• SetPlayerSkillLevel - Basicaly set your player's skill level with a certain gun, shoot with 1 sawn, tec or pistol,  basically how it's
   like in single player
• SetPlayerFightingStyle - self explanatory, just like in single player, learn different fighting styles from the different gyms
• A new mouse interface and new chatbox/scoreboard look.
• PlayCrimeReportForPlayer - Plays a crime report over the scanner, useless to us, good for RP modes.

Oh, I dunno about that minimize stuff.... but it works with Vista. That compatibility issue with the freeze crash is a pain.

Confirmed by Snoopy, 0.3 works good with Vista.

That's all I can think of for now, will add more as time goes by.

Oh and for my vote, It's looking hot lol, I would have liked to have seen more functions that aren't geared towards RP. Kinda disappointed in 0.3 in some ways, nothing spectacular, mostly RP stuff.

Yeah, the sync with vehicle damage will be great for racing, I completely forgot about that (hard to notice when I play on my own lol). Fighting styles too will be good, just a shame using them will jail you. Heh. Might have to recode it so it only jails you if you're actually hitting people, instead of jailed for pressing FIRE.

Does that mean that everyone's bike skill will be at zero when 0.3 comes :L ? And that we need to improve it ourselves? Would be a bad thing, cause starters will never win a bike-race from a regular anymore then :L

Nah :L it's determined by the server with SetPlayerSkillLevel (playerid, skill, level)
SA-MP 0.3 will have a new GUI system like this, looks pretty damn good!  8)

No one knows,  best answer would be "When it's ready". There's no point in releasing bugged stuff (blushes at his previous updates of AX lol), Kye and the SA-MP team want to get it right I believe.

We should have a Beta 0.3 test server set up soon.

Luckily Stunt Bonus's are disabled, so no chance of abusing. Also they're locked until you enter stunt, or the race is of those new features.

You will all love the new GUI upgrades, login input works great, GUI Time Trial select menu also works well.

btw I got an idea to bring gravity back without it being abusable in stuntmode: If stunt bonuses can be locked, is there a way to make them automaticly lock if the gravity is higher or lower than 0.008 or whatever default is? Then make it unlock when gravity's back to normal? That'd be unabusable...

Yeah that would be a good fix.

But, the new 0.3 won't have per player gravity so there's no point scripting anymore for functions we won't be using.

Well, player gravity was something added in a plugin by Y-Less, he has said once 0.3 is fully released he will update his YSF.
To be fair though, we have a alternate plugin which works better, except for the fact it hasn't got player gravity and add stats to clients, but we don't need them.

Fighting styles added to GUI menu.
- TimeTrial
Able to have 40* different races active at the same time.
- Buildmode
Choice of testing race before saving.
Added new features (drunk, velocity) to buildmode menu.
= Racing
Add 3D Text to podium players.
Added /startrace command for SK races.
- Stunt
Speed boosts to increase movement. /speedboost to activate and deactivate.
Added /ramp so people can change their ramp type. (Angle may be a problem?)

- General
GUI login.
New 0.3 plugin to allow directory reading and creating.
New /pm command (SA-MP Default removed).
New mouse support TAB Screen with GUI menu's (pm, report, kick etc).
Vehicle Rapair is done instantly now.
3D Text for housing.
Added special actions to skin selection.

Basically with coding TimeTrial per player, I was able to hook the buildmode data and run it with TT.

when I was playing at Crazy Bobs I was trained to make PIT with lag hehe, still it wouldnt be nice in a racing server

It shows to all users nearby yes, but only at a short distance, I didn't hear anybody complain about it being annoying so far. And for me it's not annoying either, it's funny to see when you drive.

What is bad about 0.3a is that if you press F7 twice(full chat box, transparent chatbox and chatbox gone) not only the chat box is removed. but also your mini map... I hate that cause I need it for racing and I like to race with chatbox off cause else I'm going to read while racing and then I crash lol.

And I've noticed some bugs also. One of them is when "drunk" mode race is on your all hud disapears. One more. Cars going through the roads at start.

Im still looking forward to new features that we don't have yet  :'(

But when I'm drunk I can't read a map.. So it's realistic? Btw a map would be useless cause I can't drive straight when being drunk xD

the no map in drunkmode makes sense since you're probably just speccing yourself with a swaying camera.

This might be the camera when CJ goes afk mode in single player, so everything go away.
