Yo dudes, final dragged my PC round here so I can join the server and see what I'm missing.
Problem is, I'm using his TV, for some reason my PC won't send the picture to the primary display, just get a black screen.

Any ideas?

Some bad cables to that TV or just your pc doesn't have suitable TV out. Thats what i think  ;)

Hmm, I'm sure default would be 800x600. Don't think it would be a problem as safe mode starts fine on the TV.
But you could be on to something, currently im using scart cable, but he has a composite (or w/e lol) port, i'll try that.

I am sure problem is high resolution or bad setup tv out in drivers,reinstall drivers and make new setup.Use TV just to go on add/remove programs part of control panel,find drivers of your video card and uninstall then restart windows.After that picture should back on your monitor then install again drivers of your video card plug tv-out cable in your card and setup connection in your video drivers.
