You only lose some time in start with flame limiter on...And i used to play with fps limiter on for like 3 years because i didn't know what fps limiter means. I can do 3:15 again on that track if you want and you can spec me and you'll see  that i don't use mods or cheat.

And why should you lose time in all race? Yes, you do lose time in all race if you crash into posts etc
